Expiatory Temple
The Diocesan Expiatory Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus also known simply as "El Expiatorio" is a temple dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus located in León, Guanajuato, in Mexico. It is neo-Gothic in style. Its construction began on July 8, 1921 and was (supposedly) completed on March 20, 2012 with the visit of Pope Benedict XVI. It is located within the territory of the Parroquia del Divino Redentor, in turn, in the Deanery of San Sebastián.

Explore Science Center
Explora is one of the best known and best equipped museums and interactive science centers in Mexico and Latin America. It is located in Leon, Guanajuato.
The main resources of the Explora Science Center, in 10,200 m2 of built area, are:
• Six thematic rooms with exhibitions, most of them interactive.
• Leonardo Da Vinci IMAX Theatre, with 296 seats and a large-format 3D film projection system (in three dimensions).

Triumphal Arch
The city of León, Guanajuato, by order of its Municipal Council, has its official coat of arms, a faithful synthesis of the history and way of life of the people of León. Currently there is the 'Puerta Milenio' monument, which aims to signify our history and development, apart from integrating an attractive cultural space and family recreation.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Arch of the Calzada de los Héroes, crowned with its bronze lion, is the most deeply rooted and widespread symbol of León both in our country and abroad.

Bajio Aquarium
The Bajío Aquarium has around 10,000 specimens of more than 300 species, including sharks, rays, jellyfish, reef fish, turtles, crocodiles, among many more; which can be seen throughout 11 exhibition areas with a life support system capable of daily filtering more than 22 million liters of water from the Gulf of Mexico, as well as a specialized area to supervise, feed, preserve and reproduce the species made up of biologists, veterinarians, farmers and engineers.
